Join us on July 28th for an introduction to Greensea’s long range command and control system, SafeC2™. Greensea’s Program Manager for SafeC2, Pete Kerson will be joined by project engineers, Greg Horton and Naomi Harrison for an overview of SafeC2 and they will talk about the work that they are doing on this new frontier. This session will include discussion, video, and demo.

Pete Kerson

Pete is Greensea's Program Manager for EOD Technologies, which includes EOD Workspace and SafeC2. After ten years in the US Navy, Pete joined Greensea because he wanted to work with smart people to solve hard problems that matter. When he's not testing robots or wrangling engineers, he enjoys the beauty and good food of Vermont.

Naomi Harrison

Naomi is a Junior Robotics Engineer who develops software for SafeC2. Naomi received a Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute where she wrote a research paper on human-robot supervisory control that was published to the 2021 ICRA conference. Additionally, Naomi was the student director of Engineering Ambassadors, a STEM outreach group that provided presentations and activities on engineering for K-12 students.

Greg Horton

Greg is Senior Robotics Engineer at Greensea and is the technical lead for the SafeC2 project. Greg has over 25 years of experience in embedded software development, with 8 years in the marine robotics industry (AUVs and ROVs). Greg works out of Greensea's Plymouth, Massachusetts office. He lives on Cape Cod and enjoys road biking, playing music, brewing beer and family/dog time.
